They really don't.

A wise woman told me early in my mothering days, "Pray for your children every day of their lives. Who else is going to do that?"

Who else indeed?

Linda A.

Well, for the second day in a row my makeup is running...it's ok though cause the prayers of the true believers I know just fill me with the reminder of the Hope we have and the promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us...That and Romans 8:28, of course. What a beautiful song - one all we mothers can relate to as we care for our children - even when they're taller than we are. Bless you, my friend!

I can't imagine ever feeling okay about not praying over my kids, even when they're 40. Is the tune of the song you posted one that is familiar? I'd love to sing it over my little ones at bedtime!

What a beautiful song! I'm searching CBD for it and found one marked "volume one". Is that the same one?

I grew up listening to that Gaither Trio album...in fact, I still have the vinyl record (I know, showing my age, aren't I?) and my husband was kind enough to transfer it to mp3 so our kids could enjoy it as well. That song has always been one of my favorites.

And in answer to your question? No, that is one need I believe NONE of us ever outgrow. Great blog!
