Everyday Mommy

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

Thank you, Michelle. Thank you.

Sarah

That is so true! We MUST be filled and "saturated" with the Word for the Word to be our lives. Thank you for that reminder!

Love it! I know I need more encourangement to (ahem) get off the computer and get in my Bible. Thanks, Michelle!

Oh I love the sponge visual. Beautiful and truthful, Michelle, thank you for the exhortation. :)

Thanks for the reminder. I've gotten sidetracked reading books ABOUT the Bible lately. Good books. Great books by wise people about important stuff.

I'll be getting back into the Bible. Today.

Katherine

The longer I live the more I love it. Preach it, sister!

Leslie

Excellent post! If you don't mind I'm going to link to this post. Here's an excerpt from my post:
"I don't want to get older and regret not spending more time reading and memorizing God's word. I don't want to be in a situation in which I am caught saying, "I know the Bible says it somewhere!" I want to be a scripture-dripping sponge!

There are several methods for scripture memory out there. If you have a plan that works for you, GREAT! If you don't have a plan, I'd like to commend one to you."

Thanks for the reminder!
Leslie

I read this yesterday morning, and it was on my mind all day. Thank you for the reminder to be saturated with His Word!

Stacey

What a good object lesson. I want to be dripping with the Love of God!!

Tammy

I love "dripping" with the Word. I want this even more in my life!
Thank you for sharing this!
